Wiring the 4200 Mini Controller
When wiring the 4200 Mini Controller, please remember not to exceed 3.5Amps per button. When you overload the 4200 Mini Controller it may light up/perform a function briefly, then turn off. The 4200 Mini Controller has a built in safety feature that will help protect the Controller from electrical surges by powering down the unit before damage occurs. Please note that upon purchase, the 4200 mini will come with a new label sheet to change the button names to your preference.

Step 1: Run a 16-18 gauge wire to a known good ground location (typically the negative battery post (12v-)) and splice the wire to the black wire coming from the 4200 mini.
Step 2: Run a 16-18 gauge wire to the positive battery post (12v+) and run the opposite end to the red wire coming from the 4200 mini.
Step 3: Splice your products into whichever six button wires you prefer.
Step 4: Test Functionality. If some products do not work, please inspect your wiring for defects.
