Step 1: Run a 18-20 gauge wire to a known good ground location (typically the negative battery post (12v-)) and run the wire to the main negative terminal on the Cobra T3.
Step 2: Run a 18-20 gauge wire to a known good 12v+ source (4200DL relay board, battery, typhoon, etc...) and splice that wire into the red wire on the T3.
Step 3: Test functionality by activating the red mode 1 wire. If the T3 does not function properly check your wiring.
